Save £7,500 with the Boiler Upgrade Scheme (BUS)
The Boiler Upgrade Scheme (BUS) is a government grant offering £7,500 towards the cost of installing an air source heat pump in homes and small non-domestic properties across England and Wales.
To be eligible, you must:
- Own the property
- Be replacing a fossil fuel system (like gas, oil, or electric heating)
- Use an MCS-certified installer (like Arnie’s Plumbing Services Ltd)
Only registered MCS installers can apply for the £7'500 BUS grant on your behalf — if you choose someone who isn’t certified, you won’t be able to access the funding.
The scheme runs until 2028, but funding is capped each year, so we recommend acting early if you’re considering switching to an air source heat pump system.
